Slow stitching with Japanese style will be the second in our latest series of workshops with the talented Lisa Mattock. Lisa is the driving force behind slow stitching in Australia, using vintage textiles, exquisite embroidery and beautiful threads to stitch them into a new piece of fabric that can have a new purpose.
This very special workshop will be based on the Japanese Floral Motifs and is her NEWEST workshop. The Japanese wabi-sabi ethos works in harmony with the Forage philosophy, so you will learn how to incorporate beautiful Japanese floral motifs into your slow stitching project using a variety of stitching techniques.
Starter packs will be available for each different motif and include a selection of vintage Japanese textiles and Wonderfil thread.
