Brioche knitting has its origins as early as 1842 and over the last few years, Brioche has taken off across the globe! The stitches used in Brioche create a strong rib which has depth and is incredibly squishy and soft.
There are so many beautiful Brioche knitting patterns available now, so it is a fabulous time to learn. Over the 3 weeks you will learn the basics, then work up to begin your first Brioche project and knit the two-colour Kodiak Cowl by Emily from The Blue Mouse. You will receive 2 balls of Katia Cashmere 30 for this project along with a copy of her free pattern.
Based in Columbus Ohio, Emily is the creative talent behind The Blue Mouse. She is a knitwear designer and photographer and is one talented gal. You will love her range of designs which are available on her website and through Ravelry. Her generosity in providing access to a free brioche pattern design for all knitfolk is just wonderful. You can find out more about Emily by visiting her website on www.thebluemouseknits.com or following her on Insta @thebluemouse_ We love her designs!
