Regular price $25.00*** Classes have been paused so our teacher can have a lovely Christmas break! Sessions will resume again on the 11th of January in the new year ***
The textile technique of smocking has been in practice in England since the late 17th to 19th century. The exact time in history and its true origins is unsure, but what we do know that this beautiful technique continues to be an enduring part of fashion.
Come and learn the art of Smocking or re-discover your skills in our Wednesday Smocking group with Margie Macalpine. She is a Teacher and Consultant in sewing, smocking and embroidery and we are thrilled that she is taking this class.
If you're new to the craft of smocking Margie will be able to provide a small sampler to get you started. Or, if you've already got your own project bring it in to work on. You could also chose to start something brand new selecting a pattern and some beautiful fabric in store.
Wednesday Smocking is an open group where everyone is welcome. Your class details are as follows:
Dates and times: Wednesdays 10am to 12pm |
Cost: $25.00 per class which includes tuition, yummy cake and plenty of tea and coffee. |
