Class Policies
Calico and Ivy runs a series of classes for our customers across the year. Topics of the classes include crochet, knitting, sewing and quilt-making.

We will schedule class dates and times on our workshops page for new classes.
Online class policy
All online classes will be held using Zoom and hosted by Calico and Ivy.
Download the app, register for your class, enter the meeting number at the nominated time. Only authenticated visitors can enter.
Online classes are shared in a virtual room, so please no swearing, no discrimination and no bullying.

In-store class policies
For in-store classes, the following policies apply:
- Covid-19 Vaccination certificate must be viewed on the first day of class.
- Masks may be required, depending on government regulations. This will be confirmed prior to the class.
- Class limits will be set to ensure 1.5m social distancing occurs.
- All materials and yarns required to complete your class project are to be purchased from Calico and Ivy, unless otherwise stated.
- All class positions will not be considered finalised unless full payment is received.
- You can transfer your class to a friend if you are unable to attend.
- Please, no children or babies in class.
Cancellations
If Calico and Ivy cancels a class due to lack of participants or a lockdown is announced by the WA Government, we will refund your class fees promptly.
For Calico and Ivy classes run by Calico staff:
- If you are unable to attend, a full refund is available if 7 days' notice is given before the class date.
- Once you commence your course, we cannot provide a refund for class days you are unable to attend for any reason.
- In the event a lockdown is announced by the WA Government, a refund or store credit will be offered but we will contact you as soon as we can to see what options you would prefer to select.
For special-guest workshops (i.e. a visiting tutor from interstate or overseas):
Note - at this time we are unable to provide visiting tutors.
- Calico and Ivy arranges for visiting tutors to come to the store for a range of workshops. Their tuition fees are paid upfront by us.
- No refunds will be possible if you give us less than 2 weeks' notice before the class.
- You can transfer your class to a friend if you are unable to attend.
- If you are unable to attend on the day, we are unable to refund your class payment.
