The wonderful thing about February is its the month for us to release our new classes!

We will have a different format this term with continual classes on certain days.

WEDNESDAY mornings will be our Contemporary Quilt workshop run by Elissa.  The contemporary quilt is a very simple and seriously stylish quilt.   It is a MUST to attend this class.

WEDNESDAY afternoons will be our Beginners Knitting where you can learn to knit with Kate.    Come and learn how to make a gorgeous chunky cowl or a textured cushion!

FRIDAY mornings will be our Quiltmaking Skills morning where depending on the date, you can learn a range of quilt making skills such as english paper piecing, appliqué and hand piecing.    This class will be run by Carla or Josie.

SATURDAY afternoons will be our Crochet afternoon at the store and Marnie will be running our Beginners Crochet course.  Learn how to hold the hook, make up some crochet swatches, learn how to make granny squares and how to sew them together.   Come and join the Crochet Revolution!

Lace Knitting is making an appearance at the store in the first couple of weeks of February and we are delighted to bring our lace expert Sharon to Perth to run this workshop.

Brooklyn Tweed Socks

Posted on August 07, 2015 by Josie Parnell

One of the best things about getting new yarn into our store is that we get to experiment and explore its texture, discover its wearability and show our customers new ways of creating.

Brooklyn Tweed has recently come to our store and we are delighted!

Tash has used the new Shelter Marls in 'Newsprint' to whip up some socks which are truly amazing.

You can see the texture of the Marls and how beautifully it knits up.
