Rooster Yarns

Launched in England in February 2006, Rooster yarns took our fancy when we were visiting London.   We loved the colour palette comprising more vibrant fashionable shades with traditional soft colours, which all work well combined together.   The girls of Rooster were inspired by current colour trends and the countryside and coast of where they live. 

Rooster 'Almerino' yarn is an unique 50:50 blend of baby alpaca and merino wool, giving the yarn a beautiful soft feel.   It's a 100% natural yarn available in 8 ply (DK) and 10 ply (Aran) weights and is perfect for both hand knitting and crochet. 

The colours and feel of this yarn are sure to attract new knitters and inspire those already taken with this popular past time. 

Rooster have also produced some fantastic kits, which present well and make a perfect present for a knitter or just for yourself!
